The Cloudy Gecko is a Gecko that inhabits New Zealand, but know one properly knows where it lives and if it is endangered. The Gecko is restricted to Stewart Island archipelago and outliers, including some very small, exposed islands. The Cloudy Gecko lives at an altitude of sea level to about 500 m. The Cloudy Gecko is Diurnal-nocturnal that means they come out at night and day.
The body colour is olive-grey to dark pinkish-brown (rarely dark olive-green). The Eye colour is olive-grey, iris with indistinct black edge, which is often absent. The mouth of the Cloudy Gecko is bright orange, with a huge tongue orange with a dark grey patch. The Cloudy Gecko’s live in the forest and scrub.
